What is MBRA?

The Michigan Bicycle Racing Association is a non-profit set up to promote bike racing in Michigan. Bike racing is a diverse sport with many disciplines. We work with race promoters across all disciplines to provide a compressive calendar of events. We also work to educate new racers.

MBRA also partners with USA Cycling to promote sanctioning races through them. When you see a race is sanctioned by USAC, you know that it will meet the highest quality for safety and organization. Races that USAC sanctioned are on one big event calendar and all riders who take out annual racing licenses are ranked based on their placings to categorize riders so that races can provide competitive events for races of all levels of experience and skill.

MBRA helps to coordinate Road and Cyclocross races in the state of Michigan, other events are outside our purview, but are an important part of the larger racing and cycling community.
