Cross Season

Cyclocross is racing you bike - one that usually isn't all the far removed from a road bike - in a park, over a course that forces the racers off the bike at some point.  Races are technical, intense and short.  And usually in a park with a party. Everything you need to know to jump into the 'cross racing scene in Michigan is right here.

Thinking about getting into road racing? Not sure where to start? Several event promoters, as well as local clubs, put on training and practice clinics in late summer and early fall.  Ann Arbor Velo Club puts on the CXPREX clinics in August.

Michigan Cyclocross Series

The Michigan Cyclocross Series is a set of six races put on to provide a great competitive season for racers of all levels.  Not all of the races are USAC-sanctioned, but 100% of them are a great time put on by devoted promoters.
